Our team is committed and driven, and its because of them that BNE is such a great airport.About the roleReporting to Head of Sustainability, the Sustainability Lead is responsible for developing and coordinating the delivery of BACs climate and nature programs and reporting. Additionally, the role is responsible for ensuring climate management and nature initiatives are embedded across the organisation by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and educating the business on the importance of climate change resilience.Some key focus areas shall include:Lead the implementation of BAC''s climate change management program and provide expert and technical advice on climate risk management and reporting.Collaborate with the Strategy and Risk team to complete risk and opportunity assessments, climate scenario analysis and adaptation planning. Mature BAC''s climate resilience program and ensure climate considerations are embedded into the organisations core strategies and business plans.Collaborate with the Airport Facilities and Infrastructure delivery teams to integrate climate resilience into development and maintenance activities.Collaborate with the Finance team to prepare BACs mandatory climate reporting in alignment with the AASB.Prepare BACs nature reporting in alignment with the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD).Contribute to BACs Sustainability Commitment and the underpinning program of activities to align with the UN SDGs and achieve BACs Sustainability Targets.About youYou like to be part of a happy, high performing team and take pride in making a difference through doing great work.You will be tertiary qualified with several years of experience of delivering climate and nature reporting, ideally with working knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB), Australia Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS) S1 and S2 standards and Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD).We are seeking a highly skilled individual with the ability ad interest to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. A conceptual thinker, you will couple skills in project management with high level presentation skills.
