Paste Fill Operator, Leading Hand and SupervisorsAdd expected salary to your profile for insights.Aquila Mining is a privately owned and operated company based in Western Australia, playing a major role in the development of Paste Fill operations across the Australasia region.We are seeking all levels of experience for existing and upcoming Paste Fill operations in various regions of Western Australia and interstate.Experience in leadership, senior operator, and service crew roles is highly regarded.These are dynamic, hands-on roles requiring high-caliber individuals who demonstrate a desire to specialize in this area of expertise and operation.Key responsibilities include:Administer paste operation systems and processes, ensuring compliance with WA Mines Legislation, Regulations, and WHS Regulations.Operate Paste Plant and related equipment.Install underground paste reticulation and infrastructure.Operate mobile equipment such as Front End Loaders and Integrated Tool Carriers.Assist in maintenance of plant, equipment, and vehicles.Meet production targets and adhere to specifications.Maintain effective relationships within the operations team.Collaborate with the wider management team and stakeholders.Candidate attributes include:Current C-class manual drivers license.Ability to pass pre-employment medical and police checks.Reliability, honesty, and integrity.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Commitment to a safe workplace.Effective teamwork skills.Experience in underground mining, paste fill, materials processing, or general mining is advantageous.Inexperienced candidates with a strong desire to learn Paste Fill operations are encouraged to apply.Benefits include:Competitive rates.Career advancement opportunities in mining.Production and retention bonus schemes.Family-friendly rosters (e.g., 2:2, 2:1, 8:6, 7:7, 4:3).Previous backfill and underground mining experience are highly regarded but not essential.
