The role contributes to capabilities in monitoring open access compliance and open research indicators. UNSW Library is the business owner for the Universitys enterprise Research Outputs System and source of truth for research publications.This a newly created role that reports to the Manager, Research Reporting, supporting the Associate Director, Scholarly Communication and Repositories; it has no direct reports.About YouYou are a highly skilled and adaptable professional with a strong foundation in data analysis and visualisation, demonstrated through experience with tools such as SQL, Python, or Power BI. Your background includes a university degree in a relevant field or equivalent knowledge gained through education and experience. You bring a deep understanding of scholarly communications, including open access, research impact, and the research publication lifecycle.Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills enable you to design and deliver training to diverse stakeholders on topics such as bibliometrics and research impact. You thrive in dynamic environments, managing multiple priorities with strong time management and attention to detail. Whether collaborating within a team or working independently, you consistently demonstrate initiative, reliability, and a commitment to high-quality outcomes.Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates must hold full ongoing rights to work in Australia to be considered for this position.
