It is an exciting time for the College, with a clear Strategic Plan and an ambitious Preparatory School campus redevelopment due for completion in early 2026.About the RoleAs Deputy Head of Preparatory School Teaching and Learning, you will be at the heart of the Colleges academic leadership, guiding a high-performing team of educators across Reception to Year 6. You will champion evidence-based teaching practices, foster a culture of lifelong learning, and ensure every student receives an education that supports their academic, social, and emotional growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coach Pedagogical Leaders and Preparatory Teachers to deliver best-practice teaching aligned with the science of learning.Drive curriculum innovation and review cycles, ensuring alignment with the Australian Curriculum and strategic priorities.Oversee assessment, reporting, and data-informed teaching practices to enhance student outcomes.Model exemplary pedagogy to support staff development.Coordinate professional learning, standardised testing, and inclusive education provision.Build strong relationships with staff, students, and families, promoting a culture of trust, collaboration, and shared purpose.What Were Looking ForWe seek a leader who is:Empathetic and inspiring, with a proven ability to build trust and lead teams with positivity and clarity.A Pedagogical expert, with deep knowledge of the science of learning and curriculum design for primary aged students.Strategically minded, with experience in driving school-wide initiatives and continuous improvement.Data-savvy, with the ability to analyse student progress and guide responsive teaching.A strong communicator, able to engage effectively with staff, students, and families.Why Join Us?Youll be part of a school that models its values of Excellence, Respect, Belonging and Endeavour and join a welcoming community that values professional growth.
