team as required for inpatient care at MUH.Participate in formal handover and ensure effective communication (with particular regard to deteriorating patients), while meeting standards of care.Comply accordance with contemporary evidence based best practice.Promptly advise supervising staff, admitting doctor or senior medical staff of any concerns regarding a patients condition or management.AdministrativeAttend Discipline, Program and MQ Health meetings as required by supervisor(s) or the Director of Medical Services.Participate in Discipline/Program Morbidity and Mortality meetings and other meetings deemed compulsory by supervisor(s) or the Director of Medical Services.Provide a minimum of four weeks notification of planned/intended leave arrangements (personal or work related) ensuring adequate coverage is arranged and signed off by the primary supervisor and the Doctors in Training Manager.Notify supervisor(s) immediately of any event that may give rise to a complaint or medico legal claim and complete the appropriate incident notification forms.Quality and Research ActivitiesParticipate in Discipline, Program, Hospital and MQ Health quality assurance and risk management projects.Ensure compliance with the standards contained within the ACSQHC National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards for accreditation.Participate in clinical quality activities such as peer review, clinical practice audit, root cause analysis etc.Participate in Discipline and/or Program Mortality and Morbidity meetings, Sentinel Event meetings, or peer review
