This full-time, Monday-to-Friday role is perfect for someone with strong CMMS experience (MEX preferred) and a passion for continuous improvement.In this role, youll play a key part in supporting the implementation of innovative new products and processes, while driving enhancements to existing products manufactured at Pharmacare operations.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your key areas of accountability include, but not limited to:Attend weekly planning meeting and liaise with relevant departments to ensure required machines are available for routine maintenance.Install and commission new machines as required.Assist the Maintenance Manager with the fitters and electricians on site for the day-to-day tasks (work orders and PMs).Book and manage third party contractors who provide service to PharmaCare Operations in line with the Preventative maintenance schedule.Issue monthly PMs to the maintenance team and ensure all work is closed off prior to its due date.Drive Lean initiatives and develop reports to use visual aids, Problem Solving, 6S and other Lean tools.Manage preventive-maintenance and utilities routine-maintenance on site with contractors.Manage spare parts, consumables inventory through MEX.Management of calibrations schedule.Manage and drive relevant projects/machine improvement.Ensuring that the quality of the product and service within the factory is maintained at the highest possible standards.Abide by the Health and Safety policy, ensuring safe working conditions and practices.Consult with the engineering team for all technical-related tasks.Be a backup to the maintenance technicians during leave periods, if required.Cover the Maintenance Manager when absent from the site.Work with the production team to complete the technical aspects of machine setting.Use MEX to enter all details of company assets, maintenance tasks, spare parts, suppliers, and maintenance schedule. and ensure maintenance technicians are using MEX to document daily tasks.This role may require some after-hours calls to support production and continue business operations.Assist the Maintenance Manager with controlling the R&M budget.Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.Desired Skills And ExperienceQUALIFICATIONMechanical or Electrical trade qualificationsRestricted Electrical Licence (desirable) for Mechanical Trade.Please note: All relevant qualifications and licenses must be recognised and valid in Australia.ExperienceA minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance and machine setting, preferably in a TGA/GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environmentExperience of machines in production processExperience of Maintenance Computerized system (e.g., MEX)Experience in managing situations with tight quality and efficiency parametersExperience with machine installation & commissioningExperience with mechanical fault findingExperience in managing, training and developing teamsIntermediate use of Microsoft Office packagesSeniority levelSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesRetail Health and Personal Care ProductsReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at PharmaCare Laboratories by 2xGet notified about new Maintenance Lead jobs in Prestons, New South Wales, Australia.Greystanes, New South Wales, Australia 3 weeks agoCampbelltown, New South Wales, Australia 2 weeks agoKemps Creek, New South Wales, Australia 6 days agoMillers Point, New South Wales, Australia 1 week agoCampbelltown, New South Wales, Australia A$170,000.00-A$170,000.00 3 weeks agoMoorebank, New South Wales, Australia 1 week agoTechnical Supervisor Maintenance Operations -
