We seek to foster an energetic and collaborative work culture that attracts and retains exceptional employees.Reporting to the Supply Supervisor, the successful candidate will assist with various supply-related disciplines, including warehousing, logistics, and inventory management.Main duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Supporting the Supply Supervisor and Senior Supply Officer to minimize mining and processing downtime by proactively managing stock levels of critical spares and consumables, ensuring availability when needed.Picking and issuing warehouse stock, and delivering/delivering direct charge orders efficiently.Operating forklifts safely and efficiently for unloading freight and backloading as required.Processing goods inwards accurately, including unloading, unpacking, checking, and receipting against purchase orders and delivery documentation.Preparing despatch documentation for goods to be sent off-site.Safely packing and restraining loads for dispatch.Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the warehouse, yard, and with forklifts.Conducting stock counts according to cyclic schedules.Monitoring reagent and diesel tank levels daily and communicating with suppliers.Providing escort for non-inducted deliveries as needed.Maintaining warehouse bin locations and relocating inventory as necessary.Processing rotatable/repairable items for prompt return to inventory.Participating in supply handover, safety, and PSI meetings.Reporting hazards, inspecting warehouse and freight deliveries prior to unloading.Handling and storing hazardous goods per Australian Standards.Operating reach trucks for storing and relocating pallets.Operating forklifts safely around the site.Liaising with maintenance for shutdown and work order parts.Preserving stored inventory as required.Key skills, qualifications, experience, and competencies:LF High Risk Work Licence (Forklift) required.C Class Drivers Licence required (C-A minimum).HR Drivers Licence desirable.Reach truck experience.Pronto ERP experience.Understanding of Chain of Responsibility legislation and load restraint (desirable).Chain of Responsibility TLIF0009 and Load Restraint TLIA1001 certifications (desirable).Certificate in Storage & Handling of Dangerous Goods.Understanding of mining operations.Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.Strong customer service skills.Excellent time management, communication, literacy, and computer skills.Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint.Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and ability to meet deadlines and work autonomously.BGL is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, providing equal opportunities, and engaging with the community through investment and sponsorship programs to create lasting positive impacts. #J-18808-Ljbffr
