Based at Riverview (Ipswich), the successful candidate will have a natural inclination to be a great leader, who thrives on driving a culture of continuous improvement and supporting management to ensure a safe and smooth daily business operation.This position will be supporting the afternoon shift team and your working hours will be 4pm to 12am; Monday to Friday.Your key responsibilities will include:Monitoring movement to meet operational demands and schedulesCoordinating with drivers and dispatchers to ensure timely delivery and pick up schedulesPromoting a safe, positive work environment whilst maintaining alignment with company policiesUtilising company assets and contractors in a cost-effective mannerManaging customer relationsEnsuring all legislative requirements are metAbout YouPrevious experience in transport, logistics, refrigerated freight movements and allocationsKnowledge of transport regulations including Fatigue, Chain of Responsibility and Mass and Maintenance under NHVRProficient user or transport systems and MS OfficeAbility to work autonomously as well as within a team environmentDemonstrated ability to achieve overall objectives of a businessStrong verbal and written communication skillsEnergetic, passionate and enthusiastic with a demonstrated focus on system improvementFlexibility to take calls as required on weekendsCurrent Drivers LicenceInterested?
