Our model focuses on specialisation and segmentation by injury type and claim duration, enabling alignment of the right skillset to the right role.As an Injury Management Advisor, you will support the Claims teams in all aspects of medical management, including treatment, injury management planning and service provider liaison.These roles provide exceptional opportunities to provide specialist support and grow your career in an exciting direction. In our expansion as a start up and disruptor to the current market, you will lend your experience to build and grow the technical expertise, operations and processes across the function.How you''ll make an impactAdvise and provide case management support across a range of cases at various stages of their return to work journey;Engage with insured employers, injured employees, rehabilitation professionals, medical practitioners and legal providers in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for all parties;Support the physical and psychological needs of our injured workers through the provision of services within our additional mental health, technical and rehabilitation support hubs;Contribute to excellent return to work outcomes and lead the end-to-end claims management life cycle;Coach and mentor case management personnel, and collaborate with our additional Mental Health, Recovery and RTW, and Technical support hubs;Collaborate with internal stakeholders around return to work and claims strategy;Participate in key business projects and initiatives.About youPrevious experience and qualifications in injury rehabilitation and/or case management; Experience in a workers compensation or insurer setting would be highly regarded;Tertiary qualifications in allied health, such as exercise physiology, physiotherapy, nursing, etc;Exceptional time management and organisational skills;Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of organisation;A strategic mindset and approach to work;A strong sense of team and collaboration;A resilient attitude.To be considered for this opportunity you must have right to live and work in Australia when applying.Agency applicants will not be considered for this position.Gallagher Bassett is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Indigenous Australian applicants are encouraged to apply.
