A Federal Government agency is seeking experienced Senior Test Analyst to support a large-scale program involving the testing of a cloud-based Protected Data Storage (PDS) system integrated with an Air Traffic Management (ATM) platform.This role is hands-on with leadership responsibility, contributing to the security, reliability, and compliance of high-assurance data systems in a highly regulated environment.10 month contract with 12 months extension option.Open to multiple locations including ACT, QLD,VICAustralian citizens with an active NV1 security clearance.Hybrid role (3 days in office and 2 days WFH).Paxus pays weeklyKey ResponsibilitiesTest Planning & ManagementDevelop tailored test plans for cloud-integrated systemsDefine defect management plans and lead triage processesEnsure alignment with aviation safety and data protection regulationsTest Design & ExecutionAnalyse requirements and design system, integration, and end-to-end test casesValidate key AWS services (e.g. encryption, access control, storage, logging)Test data flow and interfaces between PDS and ATM systemsCollaboration & ReportingWork closely with developers, cloud engineers, testers, and SMEsParticipate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planningDocument test outcomes, risks, and provide actionable reportingRequired Skills & ExperienceMinimum 5+ years of software testing, with at least 1 year in cloud-based environments (preferably AWS)Strong experience with Atlassian tools, including JIRA and XRAYUnderstanding of cloud infrastructure, security, and data lifecycleExperience with automated testing and complex system integrationsExcellent communication and analytical skills.ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst certificationAWS or relevant Cloud Certification (e.g., DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect)Familiarity with aviation standards, ATM systems, or safety-critical environmentsExperience in systems requiring data integrity and redundancyWhen inquiring about this role, please quote the job number #270692To be considered for the role click the ''apply'' button or for more information about this and other opportunities please contact Irina Alrogi on +61 (0)2 6151 9203 or email: ialrogi@paxus.com.au and quote the above job reference number.Paxus values diversity and welcomes applications from Indigenous Australians, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds and people living with a disability.
