Our team in Brisbane is looking to engage a Graduate Simulation Engineer to service the Australia-Asia (AUA) region. This role will be based in Brisbane, one of Hatchs Global Delivery Centre offices. There is an immeidate start for this role.We are looking for Graduate Engineering or Science students with an analytical mind who enjoy developing software and solving complex problems. The successful candidate will be required to analyse complex industrial systems focused on capacity analysis, debottlenecking and optimisation of processes and operations. You will be given the opportunity to work as part of a global team responsible for the design, improvement, and implementation of integrated technical, human, and financial solutions through the application of analytical skills, discrete event simulation, and other engineering skills.As the successful candidate, you will:Analyse operational and design dataConduct observations or surveys on industrial sitesPerform analytical calculationsUndertake analytical and simulation studies that consider design and operating options to maximise capital returns, reduce operating costs, or improve production outputCompile report on technical content and findingsWork in collaboration with multidisciplinary teamsYou bring to the role:Bachelors (or higher) degree in engineering or science,Strong academic record in mathematics and statistics preferableDemonstrate a strong interest in dynamic simulation including the development of simulation modelsAny exposure to discrete event simulation software, e.g. AnyLogic, Arena, Simul8, Simio, etc. will be an advantageProgramming skills in at least one object-oriented programming language, for example: VBA, Java, C ++, C #, etc . will be advantageousStrong analytical and problem solving skillsGood written, oral and interpersonal communication skills;Good planning and organizational skills.Relational skills for teamwork and ability to work autonomously ;Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervisionWillingness and ability to spend time away from home working on remote sites and travel internationallyCommitment to providing high quality workAccelerate your career with a global tier-one company and gain the opportunity to work on various Projects for reputable, well-known clients.NOTE: You must apply with a cover letter and submit a transcript (official or unofficial) upon application to be considered for role.If you have a Bachelor''s degree and a Master''s degree you must include both your final undergrad transcript and your unofficial post grad transcript to be considered.Collaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutionsDon''t meet every single requirement?
