Contract Automotive Assessor for a Trades Recognition Australia ProgramThe Australian Trade Training College is seeking a trade qualified Assessor to conduct Job Ready assessments with overseas participants in their workplace based in South East Queensland.As an established RTO delivering Trade Recognition programs based in Brisbane, we are extending our team to include a contract assessor to undertake these assessments on our behalf.If you are passionate about the automotive industry and recognising the knowledge and skills developed by participants who have previously gained an automotive qualification as a part of this migration program. This is an opportunity for you to be an important part of their journey to permanent residency.What you will bring to this position:Australian trade qualification in Automotive Certificate III or above - requiredCurrent Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or the Assessor Skill Set - requiredPrevious training and assessment history desirableReliable vehicle and current drivers licence - requiredAbility to work within timelinesAttention to detail and ability to write applicant assessment reportsThe ability to effectively communicate with participants who have English as a second languageA can-do attitudeWhat we will provide:Full training and mentoring of the assessment.Administration supportCompetitive contract including travel time and vehicle allowanceApplicants must be eligible to work in Australia.
