See where your commitment could take you.Who are we looking for?We are seeking a qualified Payroll Officer to assist in the administration of GHDs payroll systems and processes. This position will play an integral role in ensuring the accurate, timely, and cost-effective execution of payroll functions for GHD.This position offers a variety of work and will see you:Partner with other GHD employees and stakeholders to respond to enquiriesSupport the delivery of GHD payroll services and payroll improvement projectsAssist in preparation of all employee tax obligations and returnsContribute to test plans, review of test outcomes with the Service Delivery and Operations teams, including delivery supportSupport as required the preparation, investigation and management of ad hoc payroll reconciliations, requests and monthly payroll balance sheet reconciliations.To be successful in this role you will require the following:Knowledge of payroll legislation and core payroll upstream and downstream processesThe ability to truly business partner with an agile and growth mindsetEffective communication skills across different internal stakeholders at all levelsKnowledge and experience of a HRIS and payroll system (ADP Global view) would be preferred but is not essential.Experience in standard Microsoft Office applications with intermediate skills in Excel and Word applicationsAptitude for numerical work and problem solving with a high degree of detail and accuracy in all areas of work.This role can be located in Newcastle or SydneyInterested?
