With opportunities to travel to project sites, collaborate across functions, and innovate with purpose, your work will be both meaningful and rewarding.About the RoleReporting to the Principal Engineer, you''ll be responsible for the design and technical development of solar PV and battery energy storage systems across the commercial and utility-scale portfolio. Your responsibilities will span feasibility studies, system modelling, documentation, commissioning support, and quality assurance for renewable energy projects nationwide.DutiesDesign solar PV and battery energy storage systems for commercial and utility-scale projectsConduct system studies, performance modelling, and load calculations using engineering softwarePrepare technical documentation including design drawings, BoDs, and QA specificationsSupport site inspections, quality assurance testing and commissioning activitiesContribute to tenders and proposals with technical input and accurate design outputsAssist in developing and maintaining internal technical standards and proceduresSkills/ExperienceTertiary qualification in electrical engineering or a related disciplineStrong knowledge of solar PV systems, battery storage and electrical design principlesProficiency in engineering tools such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, Helioscope, and SketchUpAbility to interpret technical standards, manage multiple design tasks, and meet deadlinesExcellent communication and documentation skillsExperience in renewable energy projects highly regardedDesign renewable energy infrastructure that powers Australia''s clean futureWork on innovative solar and battery projects with national impactJoin a highly collaborative, forward-thinking engineering teamEnjoy flexible work options and opportunities to visit project sitesCompany & CultureThis is an opportunity to join a purpose-driven energy company with a strong focus on sustainability, safety, and innovation.
