ABOUT CEACEA is an independent partnerships agency proudly founded in Melbourne, Australia with offices in Sydney, Byron Bay and UAE.We specialise in unlocking the intellectual property rights of our global portfolio of artists, actors, and creatives - amplifying their influence while celebrating cultural diversity and championing our clients unique values and ambitions.Our expertise spans the full spectrum of partnership opportunities, from talent featured in brand campaigns, content creation and events, music licensing and production, international talent buying, product placement, media opportunities including appearances, performances and editorial, while also providing legal services and talent lead concepts that inspire, empower, and endure.THE ROLE: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGERAs Business Development Manager, youll play a key role in growing our client and talent portfolio - unlocking creative opportunities that sit at the intersection of entertainment and culture with brands.Youll work closely with our Director of Talent, Partnerships & Events to identify new business opportunities, respond to briefs, and land exciting collaborations with some of the biggest (and most interesting) names in the game.This is a proactive, outward-facing role for someone with strong commercial instincts, a pulse on pop culture, and a knack for spotting partnership gold before anyone else.WHAT YOULL DOProactively identify and pursue new leads across entertainment, music, fashion, lifestyle and sport.Secure and lead first-stage conversations with potential clients and collaborators.Draft creative and commercial proposals, pitch decks, and responses to briefs and client RFI.Collaborate with our internal talent and campaign teams to ensure strategic alignment.Build and maintain strong relationships with key brand, marketing and agency decision-makers.Keep our business development pipeline moving with clarity and consistency.Monitor entertainment marketing and brand trends to inform outreach strategies.Represent CEA at industry events, functions, and trade shows to drive visibility.Support commercial negotiations alongside the wider teams.Report bi-weekly on business development activity, lead status, and wins.WHAT YOU BRING3-4+ years experience in business development, partnerships or commercial roles in media, marketing, or creative agencies.A strong network of brand and agency contacts in the AUNZ market (ideally in lifestyle, music, fashion or culture)Proven experience turning outreach into real, revenue-generating partnerships.Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills persuasive, sharp, and human.Strategic thinker with creative instincts and commercial acumen.Self-starter whos confident juggling multiple leads, proposals and conversations.Organised, energetic, and up for the hustle - you make things happen.Passionate about talent-led campaigns, brand culture, and creative collaboration.WHY CEA?Were a close-knit, culture-led agency who take our work seriously (but not ourselves).
