Key accountabilities include (but are not limited to):Responsibilities:Understanding food and industrial product quality and safety practices and processes across the area, including:Laboratory testing methodsProduct specification and safety data documentationGood warehousing and transportation practicesTraceability and quarantine proceduresHandling complaints and nonconformity reportingImplementing corrective actionsAssisting with:Process mappingWriting and implementing plans and proceduresConducting audits and inspectionsManaging product regulatory, specification, and safety data documentationCoordinating laboratory equipment calibration and servicingEnsuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, FAMIQS, Organic Certification, and other standardsManaging quarantine and recall of nonconforming productsEnsuring accuracy and quality of documents and reports, and their timely applicationMonitoring and evaluating performance in areas such as:Customer complaintsIn-process and production quality (e.g., CPK of internally produced products)Sampling plans and both internal/external testingProduct holds, traceability, and recall testingWarehousing and transportation servicesProviding information, instructions, and training to management and staffAnalyzing and reporting on key metrics, performance indicators, and trendsFollowing up on nonconformities and corrective actions, and informing stakeholdersSupporting customer service and sales by:Completing questionnaires and reviews promptlyProviding accurate and current advice/informationEnsuring traceability of submitted records and documentsOverseeing regulatory and compliance matters, including:Maintaining current and compliant safety data sheets, product specifications, and regulatory documentationAchieving product certification and compliance efficientlyCoordinating with relevant Omya personnel locally and globallyManaging Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) responsibilities, such as:Supporting SUS colleagues as neededDeveloping knowledge of SHE policies, regulations, and proceduresAssisting with investigations and nonconformity rectificationSupporting audits and maintaining the Integrated Management System per ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 standardsOther duties, including:Conducting benchmarking exercises for industry best practicesContributing to a positive workplace culture aligned with Omya Values (Modesty, Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance)Taking immediate action to control environmental, health, safety, and quality risksParticipating in cross-functional duties, including SAP tasks related to production and maintenance #J-18808-Ljbffr
