For additional information, visit us at www.wipro.com.Job DescriptionRole PurposeThe purpose of this role is to provide significant technical expertise in architecture planning and design of the concerned tower (platform, database, middleware, backup etc) as well as managing its day-to-day operations.ResponsibilitiesSupport in architecture planning, migration & installation for new projects in own tower (platform/dbase/ middleware/ backup)Lead the structural/ architectural design of platforms, middleware, databases, backups, etc., to ensure scalable and extensible solutions.Conduct capacity planning based on current and future requirements.Leverage new features of underlying technologies for optimal performance.Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies.Manage daily operations of the towerTroubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop fixes.Oversee upgrades, migrations, maintenance, backup, and configuration tasks.Review performance and optimize for efficiency.Create and maintain SOPs, manuals, and operational guidelines.Report weekly on database activities and status.Utilize automation for service improvements.Team ManagementResourcingForecast talent needs and hire accordingly.Train team members for effective recruitment and performance.Talent & Performance ManagementEnsure onboarding, training, and career progression.Set goals, conduct reviews, and provide feedback.Employee EngagementLead engagement initiatives and track satisfaction.Assign challenging projects and recognize achievements.DeliverablesOperational excellence, SLA adherence, knowledge management, customer satisfaction, risk mitigation.Timely delivery of new projects, avoiding unauthorized changes, no escalations.Mandatory SkillsCitrix Admin.
