VincentCare is well equipped to provide a continuum of services that effectively meet the needs of people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.About the RoleAs a Specialist Family Violence Practitioner, you will:Provide crisis response, risk assessment, and case management for women and children escaping family violence.Deliver trauma-informed and strength-based support, prioritizing victim survivor safety and empowerment.Work within the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM), the Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme (FVISS) and the Child Information Sharing Scheme (CISS) and all other relevant frameworks and guidelines to manage risk and hold perpetrators accountable.Advocate for victim survivors and collaborate with local, regional, and statewide services.Participate in an after-hours on-call roster for crisis response.Support clients in emergency and refuge accommodation and help with safety planning and material aid.About YouA Bachelor level qualification in Social Work or equivalency met through the 7 Equivalency Principles in line with the minimum mandatory qualification requirements. Please see for further information.Experience in family violence crisis intervention and case management.Strong knowledge of risk assessment, trauma-informed care, and family violence frameworks.Ability to work in high-pressure environments while managing a complex caseload.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.A valid Victorian Driver Licence, Working with Children Check, and satisfactory police check.Why work for us?
