Job description:$148,113 per annum + 12% superannuationFull time, OngoingWadawurrung/Geelong based role (hybrid work from home 3 days a week in office)About the opportunityThe purpose of the role is to provide leadership, accountability and lifecycle strategic procurement expertise for managing and optimising all Corporate Services, Facilities Management, and Human Resources-related category spend across WorkSafe, worth approximately $100m per annum. This includes:Overseeing and governing all procurement activity across WorkSafe spanning Corporate Services, Facilities and Property, and Human ResourcesLeading and executing all high value and complexity procurements and supply chain opportunitiesDeveloping and delivering the annual procurement Program of Work relevant initiatives, including achieving target benefitsActing as a single point of escalation for any systemic, contractual or commercial procurement issuesDeveloping and executing all long term strategic category plans, as well as for key vendors and associated contractsKey accountabilities include but are not limited to:Representing WorkSafe on all Corporate Services, Facilities Management, and Human Resources-related public sector procurement forums or industry eventsDeveloping strategies to minimise purchasing non-compliance, and to leverage continuous improvement opportunities for WorkSafe based on the identification of industry trends and developments.Proactively managing Suppliers and Contracts to identify strategic improvement opportunities and resolve supplier issues or disputes that are systematic or strategic in natureLeveraging internal spend analytics to build category reports to highlight key risks, trends and opportunities (e.g. demand management, aggregation, or price harmonisation opportunities)Collaborating and engaging a broad spectrum of senior C-suite stakeholders such as Chiefs, ELT members, and key suppliers to be their trusted advisor on all strategic or commercial procurement matters, and to ensure WorkSafe continues to receive the highest level of supplier performance and compliance to contractual obligationsPlease ensure you review the Position Description herefor additional information on accountabilities for this role.About youYou will bring technical expertise in Procurement with specific experience with delivering onmajor Facilities Management, Property, Fleet or Recruitment projects. You will demonstrate Experience and expert knowledge of either the Facilities Management, Property, Fleet, or Recruitment sectors and posess a background preferably in a tier 1 property or consulting firm, or government organisation. Strong Program Management and change management skills are essential. You will have a proven ability to undertake complex planning and prioritisation to manage the timely delivery of multiple strategic procurement projects and Exemplary stakeholder and relationship management at all levels.
