Job DescriptionWe are looking to add a BMW and/or Audi/VW automotive technician to our team!You should have demonstrated experience as an auto technician with at least 2 years experience working on these specific vehicles. You will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles.Automotive Technician Responsibilities:Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles.Identify problems with vehicles using diagnostic equipment.Explain automotive repairs/issues to provide excellent customer service.Plan repair procedures using charts, repair manuals, and experience.Test the functionality of parts and systems.Perform basic service tasks such as inspections, periodic maintenance, and multi-point inspections.Willingness to learn with hands-on training.Help keep the repair shop clean and organized.Maintain a professional appearance.*Experience involving performance modifications and parts installation is a plus!Automotive Technician Requirements:2 years experience working with BMW or Audi/VW vehicles (required).Diagnostic skills and ability to use diagnostic and tire service equipment.Understanding of vehicle-specific systems and chassis codes.Own tools required.Computer skills including typing technician notes and using shop management software.Reliable transportation and punctuality.Self-motivated and able to work well with others.Automotive and engine repair experience or training required.Valid drivers license.Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data for accurate records.Perform routine maintenance in a fast-paced environment.Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience with heavy equipment is a plus.Good hand-eye coordination.Please send us your resume.
