Join our team as an HSSEQ Advisor!Are you passionate about safety, quality, and continuous improvement?Blue Water Shipping is seeking an experienced and motivated HSSEQ Advisor to support our dynamic projects division.In this key role, youll collaborate closely with the HSSEQ Manager and key stakeholders to ensure safe project establishment, operational excellence, and ongoing enhancement of our HSSEQ performance. Youll also contribute to maintaining our ISO certification by leading compliance and assurance initiatives across the business.The principal objectives of this position are:Support and maintain the BWS Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture includingStop Work for SafetyConduct ICAM Incident/Accident investigations as appropriate, identifying comprehensive root cause analysis and key lessons learntAssist in injury management and rehabilitation programs to ensure timely return to workContribute to a culture where each individual takes on responsibility to maintain a safe working environment within the area of his/her responsibilityFacilitate the training and competency requirements for the operational personnel and ensure training needs are suitably addressed and records maintainedConduct and maintain risk management processes including Risk Register, JSEA, mitigation strategies in accordance with Blue Waters Integrated Management SystemFacilitate and participate in Blue Waters Fitness for Work, including Alcohol and other drug programMonitor and ensure that appropriate processes are in place in-line with legislative requirementsMaintain and update HSSEQ systems including Preferred Supplier lists, Legal and other requirements, Audit and Assurance, HSSEQ Reporting, Client requirements including Reporting, Tender submissions, HSE Committee, Chain of Responsibility, Environment and Sustainability requirementsComplete and facilitate specific inductionsLiaise with regulatory bodies and client representativesEnsure personnel are aware of potential hazards to themselves and workplace environmentEnsure understanding and compliance of client project requirements including any specific policies, processes and proceduresTo be successful in this role, you''ll need:Minimum Cert IV in Occupational Health & SafetyCert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment will be highly regarded5+ years experience in a similar role (preferably in Transport & Logistics or Mining)Project Industry experience desirableHigh level of communication skills (written & verbal)IT Intermediate Office365, SharePoint, Word, Excel and OutlookMust be able to gain and maintain a Criminal History clearanceAbout UsBlue Water Shipping (BWS) is a global provider of all logistics services in the modern supply chain management.
