This position will coordinate overall design activities, project submission schedules, and will be responsible for Quality Assurance and Quality Control duties to ensure the final products meet technical requirements and client goals.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform independent planning and design tasks, review the work of others, prepare construction documents, and successfully deliver projects to completion.Work on technically complex projects and apply advanced knowledge to resolve challenges.Maintain collaborative inter-departmental and cross-functional relationships with project team members.Conduct initial QA/QC reviews of project submissions to ensure compliance with client requirements and technical standards.Assist senior management in developing schedules, technical proposals, and labor hour estimates.Work closely with project teams to communicate and deliver the scope of work effectively.Support quality assurance and quality control processes to enhance deliverables and reduce errors or omissions.Perform and verify design calculations, develop technical specifications, and prepare cost estimates.Develop and manage design budgets for routine scopes of work.Education and ExperienceBachelors or Masters Degree in a relevant Engineering field from an ABET-accredited school.Minimum of five (5) years related experience.Professional Engineer (PE) license required.QualificationsThorough knowledge of the A/E industry and the ability to review, understand, and resolve complex design and construction issues quickly.Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation/InRoads, and/or Hydrologic and Hydraulic Software Packages for Site Layout, Grading, Utility, and Storm Water Management Plan design.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration across teams.Proven track record of delivering high-quality, on-time, and on-budget projects.EEO StatementLarson Design Group, Inc. is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).
