In this key role, youll lead the development and continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and operational documentation across a range of community services, including child and family, disability, early learning and mental health.This is a hands-on, strategic role where you''ll shape policy in ways that are clear, practical, and centred around those delivering and receiving services. Youll work closely with service leaders, quality and practice teams, governance, and frontline staff to ensure documentation supports compliance, consistency, and service excellence.You WillDesign, write and update policy and procedure documents to support compliance, quality, and service deliveryApply human-centred design principles to create accessible, user-friendly documentationLiaise with internal subject matter experts and leadership to ensure accuracy, clarity and alignment with strategy and legislationMonitor changes in legislation and regulatory standards and reflect them in policy updatesLead internal consultation and quality assurance processesPrepare reports, summaries and guidance materials for audits, leadership teams and other stakeholdersPromote continuous improvement by embedding feedback loops and data-informed enhancementsBuild internal capability by mentoring teams on documentation best practicesThis role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, loves clarity and structure, and can translate compliance and best practice into documents that people want to read and can easily use.About YouYou are a meticulous, organised professional with a passion for social change and improving community outcomes.
