There is no cold calling in this role. All communication is done via either phone or email.Key challenges:Ensuring expectations of members and customers are met in a fast-paced environmentBalancing the needs of external customers and the needs of the business to achieve sales outcomesAdhering to complex compliance and legislative requirementsManaging high volume of information on product, process and industry to ensure responsiveness to current and future member needs.Handling the regular changes and training required to keep up to dateKey Responsibilities:Delivery of consistently superior customer interactionsDeliver seamless service to membersAnswer enquiries related to DHFs products (by phone, email or mail) promptly, competently and professionallyKnowledgeable and up-to-date information delivered to members on sales and service relating to DHFs insurance productsLiaise with customers and internal departments to ensure timely, efficient provision of product and service advice relating to DHFs insurance productsReview existing customer records to identify growth and sales opportunitiesMaintain a high call quality scoreAchievement of Sales, renewal and retention targetsTake ownership of all service enquiries related to DHFs products includingSales/application enquiries and follow upsAnswering verbally or in writing general enquiriesLook for cross-sell opportunitiesEnsure commitments (inc. follow-up and tasks) are keptDeliver high quality, accurate information to members all timesReview outgoing correspondence to customers, including work done by peersUse appropriate templates and documentation and record all correspondence from and to customers on member file/record100% compliance with legislation and internal policies and proceduresMeet and exceed sales targets and other KPIsTeam collaboration/ continuous improvementIdentify and make suggestions on issues related to DHFs insurance products including process and systemsParticipate in process reviews or projects as requiredAsk for and address feedback on personal knowledge or performance gapsCollaboration with BDMs and other Business Consultants to achieve targetsProduct expertiseParticipate in Product Up-skilling sessionsUndertake regular competitor analysisProvide accurate information to members and potential membersContribute to Department - Provide professional input into definition and achievement of the department''s plans, goal and objectives.Professional knowledge maintainedInput and assistance provided in the development and implementation of departmental business plansIdeas, energy and enthusiasm offeredProfessional ethics and standards maintainedAssistance given to other team membersTo be successful you will have:HSC or equivalentBachelors Degree preferredASIC RG 146 Tier 1 General Insurance Compliant preferred2 years experience in Customer Service/Sales preferred2 years experience in Health Insurance preferredExcellent verbal and written communicationProficiencies in Microsoft Programs and CRMsBusiness analyticsReportingFinancial acumenStakeholder managementWhy work at Avant?At Avant, our people are the centre of everything we do for our members.
