As the HSE Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees across all aspects of our factory operations. This is a permanent full-time position, based onsite in Coomera. Hours of work are 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday.Your responsibilities will include:Developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and industry best practices.Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks within the workplace and collaborating with relevant stakeholders to implement effective control measures.Providing expert advice and guidance on WHS matters to management, supervisors, and employees, fostering a culture of proactive risk management.Delivering training programs on various aspects of health, safety, and environmental awareness to enhance employee knowledge and promote safe work practices.Investigating incidents, near misses, and workplace accidents to identify root causes and develop strategies for prevention.Contributing to the continuous improvement of health and safety initiatives through data analysis, trend identification, and participation in factory meetings.What we are looking for:Experience in a Manufacturing environment, construction, mining or similar (preferred)Relevant qualifications in WHS, minimum Certificate IV level or aboveIncredibly strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive projects and collaborate with large teamsProvide guidance and support to our staff on all HSE related mattersThorough understanding of WHS regulations and standardsDemonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments and implement control measuresStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to develop and deliver HSE training programsExperience in incident investigation and reportingDo you want to be valued and rewarded for your hard work?Employee of the Month awards and recognition.
