Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeA$86,887.00/yr - A$93,066.00/yrThe RoleThe Senior Technical Officer leads and manages small teams and ensures that the capability being supported is safe, fit for purpose and environmentally compliant by providing timely and accurate technical advice to key stakeholders.Land Materiel consists of, but is not limited to the following types of capabilities:Light and Heavy Armoured Vehicle PlatformsWheeled and Tracked Vehicle PlatformsWeapons and OrdnancePetroleum and Bulk Fuel EquipmentCommunications, Ground and Satellite SystemsChemical Biological Radiological Nuclear DefenceSimulation SystemsProtective ClothingMedical and DentalPower Generation and DistributionTest and EvaluationSpecialised Technical Services.About our TeamLand Systems Divisions (LSD) mission is to acquire and support capability that enables the ADF to generate and sustain deployable Land power for an integrated force, in peace and war. We aim to be agile, innovative and outcomes-focussed as we collaborate closely with the Services and industry to deliver the latest equipment to maximise ADF performance.The Land Engineering Agency (LEA), as part of LSD, supports various Projects and Systems Program Offices (SPO) to ensure successful technical outcomes of Defence acquisition and in-service support of land materiel. LEA provides services in engineering, testing, design and development, technical data and configuration management across the Defence Capability Life Cycle.LSD is dedicated to providing staff with an inclusive and healthy work-life environment, and we will invest in your ongoing professional development to ensure your work with us is deeply rewarding.Our Ideal CandidateThe ideal person for this role will be a Technical Officer capable of providing maintenance and support to Australian Defence Force capability systems.
