This senior FIFO role (22/20 roster) offers the opportunity to guide a skilled team, mentor new talent, and drive operational excellence from rig-up to final reporting. If you''re a hands-on leader with a passion for safety, problem-solving, and field performance we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities include, however, not limited to:Provide technical support to customer representatives as required.Interpret complex Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) associated with Well Test installations.Implement and monitor pre-project and annual maintenance programs for field equipment.Operate all equipment, including the test separator, independently and confidently.Oversee full package test operations.Participate in the field crew assessment program.Lead field training and mentoring to maintain high team performance and morale.Encourage hands-on experience for trainees under supervision.Demonstrate professionalism, safety adherence, and quality work as a role model.Supervise Operators and delegate tasks effectively.Plan, organise and direct personnel across multiple well sites.Oversee commissioning of new equipment.Communicate field delays or issues to management while managing them onsite.Review production costs, efficiency measures, and report findings to management.Ensure accurate reporting of surface and down-hole test data.Coordinate field operations and advise the Well Services Coordinator of any procedural changes.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will demonstrate:Minimum of 8-10 years of supervisory experience in Onshore Well Testing and Frac Flowback operationsProven experience in a supervisory roleProficient in computer use and electronic product servicingExperience with work processing and spreadsheet softwareCV Crane licence,4WD licence and HR drivers licenceSenior First Aid certificateGas Detection training certificateWellsite Permit to Work Holder or Authority trainingAdditional InformationWHY WORK FOR SGS?Working at SGS means joining an innovative, Global company.
