Join to apply for the Senior Payroll Officer role at Sharp & Carter1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Senior Payroll Officer role at Sharp & CarterAbout The RoleLeading industrial business has a need for a natural born and motivated Senior Payroll Officer to lead and drive the payroll side of the business.About The RoleLeading industrial business has a need for a natural born and motivated Senior Payroll Officer to lead and drive the payroll side of the business.The ResponsibilitiesReporting directly into the Finance Manager your daily duties will include but not be limited to:Ensure payroll is processed in a timely and accurate mannerCoordinate, direct and control payroll preparation, processing and distributionProvide leadership and mentoring to the payroll teamUphold high customer service standards and protocols across the businessDevelop strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholdersWork collaboratively and as a team across departmentsUse your system experience to ensure staff are well trained and payroll systems are running at their bestIdentify process improvements and implement these changes using your strong system knowledgeWork across month end functions including budgeting, analysis and forecastingThe successful applicantMust have proven and previous experience in a payroll leadership roleStrong attention to detail, thorough understanding and knowledge of legislative / statutory requirement for Superannuation, PAYG Tax, compensation and termination of pay processingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh attention to detail, excellent time management skills and a proactive approach to PayrollHow to applyIf you meet the criteria and are a dynamic and values driven Payroll professional, Id love to hear from you!
