Child Youth Family Support Manager - Transition YI (Youth Initiative)Add expected salary to your profile for insightsThe Youth Initiative (YI) is a new initiative that aims to prevent homelessness among young people leaving care by building their capacity, skills and capability. The primary purpose of this position is to work alongside young people transitioning out of Out of Home Care (OOHC) services to support and mentor them to develop networks and skills for independence and successful community living.About the role:The CYF Support Manager Transition is a specific role with a dual focus on relationship establishment, linking and management to achieve Youth Initiative contract outcomes and achieving local business development in building transition to independence service activities. The role is directly responsible for ensuring contract operationalization and business negotiation is achieved at an area level across the broader Hunter/New England region with an aim to build service responses and business opportunities for child, youth and family supports.The CYF Support Manager Transition will lead interactions with local area stakeholders including regional government to negotiate and manage the contractual arrangements associated with the implementation of PYI business and establish/grow business in transition supports. The role is directly responsible and accountable for business growth KPI, program P&L and YI contract operations and outcomes to achieve outcomes for children, youth, their families and carers (as applicable).
