Our services focus on prevention, restoration, and healing to provide specialised support to address immediate safety issues and provide advice, referrals, and connection to assist the recovery journey.About The RoleIn this vital role, you will provide place-based and outreach case management to women, and women with children, who are experiencing or have experienced family violence. Youll play a key role in delivering early intervention, crisis response, and long-term recovery planningensuring each womans voice is heard and each childs wellbeing is nurtured.Working within a feminist, trauma-informed framework, you will support service users with dignity, empathy, and a strong focus on empowerment.This is a casual role based in Southern Tasmania. Salary is in accordance with SCHADS Level 5.How You Will Make An ImpactConducting risk assessments using an approved tool and completing on-going assessments and risk and planning for safetyBuilding trust-based relationships that promote self-determination and safetyDelivering tailored case management and holistic support services in line with the Model of CareDeveloping collaborative case plans led by the goals of the participantAdvocating strongly on behalf of clients to access housing, legal, health, and community servicesRegularly reviewing progress and adapting plans to changing needsMaintaining accurate records and client data in accordance with best practiceIdentifying risks and gaps and working with the Team Leader on continuous improvementParticipating in an on-call roster as requiredWhat You Will BringA tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related fieldExperience in family violence or child wellbeing work is highly desirableWorking With Vulnerable People Card (TAS)Current Tasmanian Drivers LicenceStrong case management experience and knowledge of trauma-informed practiceAbility to work independently while staying connected to a supportive teamExcellent communication, organisation, and advocacy skillsCommitment to feminist principles and a deep understanding of the gendered nature of family violenceProficiency in client data systems and record-keepingWhat We OfferSalary packaging up to $15,900 tax free + $2,650 meal entertainment benefit.Access to EAP and health & wellness initiativesOngoing training and development opportunities that enhance on the job skills and proficiency.Rewarding and fulfilling purpose driven careers that have positive and sustainable / social impacts.How To ApplyThis is more than just a job.
