With continued growth and a strong market presence, this organisation is rapidly expanding its production capacity and investing heavily in its facilities and people.About the Role: As the Maintenance Planner, you''ll play a key role in ensuring the plant runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You''ll be responsible for developing and executing preventive maintenance plans, coordinating work orders, managing spare parts and inventory, and overseeing contractors on site. This is a great opportunity for a trade-qualified or experienced planner looking to stay close to the tools while stepping into a vital planning and coordination position.Collaborate directly with business leaders on the growth and expansion of this facilityyour experience and input will truly make an impact in this role!Responsibilities:Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedulesOccasionally perform hands-on mechanical/electrical maintenance and support troubleshootingReview and prioritise work requests, create clear work orders for the teamManage spare parts inventory, ordering, and supplier coordinationSupervise external contractors to ensure compliance with WHS and food safety standardsMonitor equipment reliability, analyse downtime trends, and contribute to continuous improvementEnsure accurate documentation and CMMS records (MEX)Promote a strong safety culture and maintain compliance with Australian WHS and HACCP standardsCollaborate with production, QA, and engineering teams to minimise downtimeQualifications:Experience: Minimum 3 years in a maintenance planning or similar role, ideally in a food/FMCG environmentQualifications: Trade background or relevant qualifications in maintenance, engineering or planningRequired Skills:Technical Know-How: Familiarity with CMMS (preferably MEX), GMP/HACCP knowledge, and basic mechanical/electrical understandingMindset: Organised, safety-focused, problem-solver with attention to detail and excellent communication skillsTech Skills: Comfortable with Microsoft Office and digital scheduling toolsPreferred Skills:Stable, long-term opportunity in a growing food manufacturing businessSupportive team environment with strong safety and quality cultureHands-on role with a mix of planning and mechanical workFlexible hours to support production and maintenance needsPay range and compensation package: 110k-120k + super + OT paid hourly!
