South East Queensland is about to embark on a period of sustained growth in the lead up to the 2032 Olympics, and we are thrilled to be involved in developing Cross River Rail, which will forever change the way Queenslanders travel.CBGU JV brings together CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella and UGL to deliver the Tunnel and Station Package for Brisbanes Cross River Rail, the 10.2 kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD. The project also includes construction of four new underground stations at Roma Street, Albert Street, Boggo Road and Woolloongabba.All project sites and offices are based in inner city Brisbane, and whats not to love. Dont miss out on the chance to be part of working on South-East Queenslands largest infrastructure project that will leave a lasting legacy for the city of Brisbane for years to come.One project team, building career opportunities for you.You will be responsible for:Test and Commission the following systems to ensure they are delivered on time and to budget:Station 11 kV High Voltage InstallationsStation and tunnel earthing and bondingStation low voltage InstallationsAct as the HV Authority for the project to ensure HV processess and procedures are maintained and regularly audited for complianceExperience in setting to Work and Dynamic Testing of a new underground railway systemAble to prepare Management Plans, Sub-plans and Test ScriptsEnsure the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and work instructions are applied throughout the test and commissioning engineering life cycle.Minimum requirements for this role include the following:Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, and;Minimum 5 years relevant testing and commissioning experience, and;Registered as a practicing RPEQ engineerPost graduate qualifications in high voltage installations and management desirableAt CBGU JV, we are committed to workplace diversity and to providing flexible work opportunities on our project.
