You will also contribute to the strategic plan of the Hospital Education Department as an essential member of the team.You will be required to:Deliver high-quality, evidence-based training and support to the staff in the Special Care Nursery.Develop, implement, and evaluate learning and development programs across the facility.Provide valuable contributions to the hospitals quality improvement process.Carry out team leader duties on shift.Deliver high quality, evidence-based care to neonates and their families.Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.Skills and ExperienceYou will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered NurseMinimum 4 years experience in neonatal nursing.Post graduate qualification in specialty area desirableCertificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirableProven ability to always act as a positive role model and as a professionalTeam leading experiencePossess excellent time management skills and well developed clinical problem-solving skillsA passion for mentoring team members and positively influencing their performanceWhats in it for you?Professional Advancement:Recognition, Rewards, Professional Development, and Employee referral programs.
