Zenviron has a permanent position available for a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join the engineering team based in the Newcastle Office. Reporting to the Delivery Team Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering quality, safe, and commercially effective engineering designs for large-scale Wind Farms and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.If you are an experienced Electrical Engineer skilled in the design and construction of major electrical infrastructure projects and want to be part of key growth in the renewables sector, join the inclusive and high-performing Zenviron team.Key responsibilities include:Coordinate, review, prepare, and deliver engineering designs/documentation for renewable energy projects, focusing on:Leading the project design process and related engineering requirementsMaintaining project recordsControlling and coordinating project design integration activitiesConducting project design and risk reviewsReporting design progress to stakeholdersProviding engineering assistance to the projectEnsure designs meet relevant standards (AS/IEC), coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors, support electrical works through investigations and site inspections, and act as the primary technical contact for clients and stakeholders.Qualifications and skills:Australian recognised Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical)Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status with Engineers Australia or eligibility to obtain on commencementExperience in major electrical infrastructure or utility-scale HV substation projectsStrong attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering drawings and specificationsExcellent communication skills and stakeholder relationship experienceProof of right to work in AustraliaSuccessful candidates will demonstrate interpersonal skills, teamwork, commitment to continuous improvement, and effective time management to meet deadlines while delivering high-quality designs.
