You will offer strategic guidance and representation in compliance with federal and state workplace and industrial relations legislation. This position provides a unique chance to work alongside industry leaders, contributing to innovative solutions while fostering positive workplace outcomes for organisations navigating complex regulatory environments.With the firms continued growth and commitment to excellence, this is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to make a meaningful impact within the employment relations and safety landscape.ExperienceWe are seeking a motivated and dedicated lawyer based in Brisbane with four to seven years of post-qualification experience. You must have a strong background of supporting clients in front-end employment advice and document reviews, and back-end litigation in courts and tribunals. The successful candidate would have experience providing legal services to both government clients (federal, state and/or local government departments and authorities) and national-system employers, noting lawyers with experience only in federal or state industrial relations frameworks will be considered.Additionally, you will possess the following key attributes:Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;A focus on delivering outcomes for your clients;Confidence in building strong relationships with clients and team members;An ability to work well both autonomously and as a part of a close-knit team;The ability on a daily basis to work on multiple matters or tasks, with competing deadlines and priorities; andA genuine passion for building your career in the employment relations and safety space.At McCullough Robertson, we encourage a balanced work environment.
