Primary tasks are to ensure that payments are received on time and properly applied to customer accounts and to communicate with customers and other departments to resolve billing issues and keep everything running smoothly. It''s a detail-oriented role that helps keep the cash flow steady and organized. The successful candidate in this position will report directly to the Controller.Job ResponsibilitiesIdentify and record incoming customer payments (checks, ACH & Wire)Proper application to customer accounts, invoices & postage escrowsRecording post office receipts: Seamless Incentives & Value Added Rebates (VAR)Ongoing A/R customer contacts by phone & emailWeekly reporting to management of outstanding A/R balances and collection status resultsRecording of postage stamp activities:Check requests / stamp purchasesStamp usage / consumption (job cost entries)Internal transfers, corporate postageExternal customer escrow usage /account clearing (limited)Benefits To Joining Midwest401(k) with company matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWorking hours are flexible.
