This role is pivotal in orchestrating both solution delivery and leadership across technology adoption and implementation. The Cyber Security Architect will map out cloud security adoption strategies, shape decisions on application designs, and oversee cloud security management and monitoring from both a project delivery and security operations perspective.During this 12-month contract the focus will be;Review current security controls and identify areas of improvement and create a plan to support the uplift of controlsCreate a baseline framework of security controls for project managers for technology projectsImplement an application wide listing product for the organisationThis role is being offered on a 12-month fixed term basis.What were looking forAwareness of emerging security trends, including threats and countermeasuresExtensive Cloud experience (preferably with Azure)Familiarity with security technologies such as SIEM, CASB, Email Security, XDR, DLP, Secure Email Gateways, CSPM, and Vulnerability ManagementAbility to analyse, isolate, and interpret business needs to develop appropriate technical solutionsEffective communication and influence skills with internal and external stakeholdersStrong customer focus and ability to network with non-technical staffHigh levels of tenacity, resilience, and initiativePassion for delivering secure and valuable results for the businessExperience with CPS234, CPS230, VPDSF, and NIST-CSF frameworksExperience in designing and implementing security architectures using Zero Trust principlesWhat we offerIMPACT - Our work has meaning, we serve the people who serve the community.
