You will collaboratively with software engineering teams to provide technical guidance and support for cloud-based application deployments and you will play a crucial role in optimizing our cloud infrastructure while supporting our development teams in delivering exceptional solutions.Key Responsibilities:Infrastructure Management:Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Cloudflare platformsOptimize cloud resources for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalabilityImplement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templatesMonitor and maintain system reliability, availability, and performanceDeveloper Support:Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to understand their infrastructure needsProvide technical guidance and support for cloud-based application deploymentsTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues affecting development workflowsCreate and maintain documentation for cloud services and deployment processesSecurity & Compliance:Implement security best practices across all cloud environmentsManage access controls, networking, and data protection measuresEnsure compliance with industry standards and organizational policiesConduct regular security assessments and vulnerability managementAutomation & Optimization:Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deploymentAutomate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiencyImplement monitoring and alerting solutions for proactive issue detectionContinuously evaluate and recommend improvements to existing infrastructureYour ExperienceTo be successful in this role you will have completed a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or hold Cloud certifications. You will have Cloud Platform experience and Cloudflare expertise. You will be proficient in infrastructure as code tools and have a strong understanding of networking concepts, security principles and cloud architecture.Whilst technical proficiency is important to the role, you will also have the attitude, soft skills and capability to engage with a broad range of business and technology stakeholders. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.You will possess a high level of energy, self-motivation, autonomy, initiative, and attention to detail to be successful in meeting the business demands at Gday Group.
