The Accounts Receivable Rep II will be assigned multiple administrative duties within these units to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate servicing of policies.OverviewThe Accounts Receivable Rep II position at AmTrust Financial, a multi-national insurance holding company, will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Accounts Receivable function within Accounting Operations. This role encompasses automatic payment processing, Pay As You Owe (PAYO), premium refunds processing, Agency Billed and Direct Billed Payments inquiries, and Commissions. The Accounts Receivable Rep II will be assigned multiple administrative duties within these units to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate servicing of policies.ResponsibilitiesEnsures successful processing of insurance premium payments.Generates premium refund batches for multiple policy types.Reviews and issues premium refunds in a specified timeframe.Assists agents, insureds, and underwriters with complex policy dispute functions.Completes error free data entry to ensure premium and/or commission processing is accurate.Processes adjustments and performs account reconciliations.Performs standard policy maintenance requests.Generates and reviews daily reports within policy system.Provides excellent customer service to clients.Research and resolve payment and/or commissions discrepancies.Acts as a functional team member supporting production needs.Follows established corporate and department policies and procedures.Acts as support for other production functions.Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.RequiredQualifications2-3 years prior experience in an Accounts Receivable roleIntermediate Microsoft Excel proficiencyMicrosoft Outlook email proficiencyMicrosoft Teams proficiencyExcellent research skills and problem solvingExcellent attention to detail and accuracyExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to perform individually and in a team environmentDue to the nature of this role, physical presence in the office 3 days per week is requiredPreferredPrior experience in insuranceDegree in Business, Accounting, or related fieldThis job description is designed to provide a general overview of the requirements of the job and does not entail a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties, or responsibilities that will be required in this position.
