In addition to this, you will be responsible for managing the Warehouse Operator and supporting in the Warehouse when work levels require it. Facilities (including maintenance and sub-contractors). The following duties include but not limited to,Working with Infrastructure team/ consultant and contractors in implementing racking layouts, bin locations, bulk storage, quarantine and ITAR cages, packing and dispatch work areas etc for our new facility in Geebung Brisbane.Strong focus on ensuring the new warehouse in planned with best practice with WHS policy and operational procedures in place.Manual handling of goods in/out, ensuring the product is adequately protected and arranging freight.Using the forklift to safely move goods around the warehouse.Closely following(monitoring/managing) the goods receiving and requesting processes for various departments and projects in collaboration with the Engineering team, Purchasing team, Demo team as well as Sales team, according to business needs.Working in SAP to ensure accurate stock control.Supervising and leading a team of warehouse operatives to meet operational targetsOverseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to ensure accuracy and on-time deliveryImplementing and monitoring warehouse policies and procedures to optimize productivity and safetyIdentifying and resolving operational issues, making recommendations for process improvementsLiaising with customers, transport providers, and other key stakeholders to ensure exceptional serviceCoordinating staffing schedules, training, and development to build a capable and motivated teamMaintaining detailed records and generating reports on warehouse activitiesWork closely with infrastructure lead in managing the relocation of our Brisbane and Sydney sites.Point of contact for building owners (5 offices Adelaide is serviced office).Point of contact internally for staff.Oversee services such as fire systems and roller door repair and ensure that all scheduled maintenance tasks are completed on time.Co-ordinate ad hoc services like painters, signage, electrical repairs and checks, locksmiths, plumbers and air con (where R&S responsible, for example in integration area).Facilitate other ad hoc building tasks.Manage waste management for Brisbane site (shred, batteries, recycling, bulk secure destruction)Organize waste management contracts for other sites (approve rec from building manager)Carrying out routine housekeeping inspections.Supporting the Facilities & Infrastructure Manager with projects associated with the office relocations. Work, Health & SafetyEnsuring compliance with all Health and Safety legislation / guidelines for self and staff at all times.Oversee the health, safety and environmental aspects of the FM delivery and complete site safety inspections.Completing inductions for new team members and overseeing process for external visitors/contractors WarehouseManagement of Warehouse Officer (who will take the lead on the day-to-day operations in the warehouse.Any other duties as required by Directors to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse and dispatch process.Your QualificationsProven experience in a warehouse (5 years plus) or in facilities management (ideally both)Ability to operate common warehouse equipmentOrganized and detail-orientedProficiency using SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and strong IT skills.
