In this highly rewarding role, you will lead trades and contractors to deliver high-quality residential builds safely, efficiently and within contractual timeframes. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:Managing the program for flow of construction for a lifestyle retirement village based in Hervey BayManaging a safety-first approach on site with up to 100 contractorsThe allocation of materials and trades to job sites to ensure timely construction of the projectEnsuring that homes are built in accordance with contractual arrangements and approved drawingsInspecting completed work to ensure high standard of quality workmanshipEnsuring that homes are completed on time and within the allocated budgetEnsuring construction is carried out safely and in accordance with company processes and systemsEnsuring Trades understand and are complying with the company Safety Management System and the WH&S legislation and internal operating systemsLiaising with customers and council, as required to provide an unbeatable customer serviceEnsuring that the required documentation and paperwork is completed during the building processAbout youYou will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values. In addition, you will demonstrate:A Building Trade Certificate or tertiary education in Construction ManagementExperience within Multi-residential living construction planningA strong project management ability to coordinate multiple service providers and suppliers to complete homes expediently.Considerable knowledge of the basic methods, practices, tools, materials, and work standards related to the building of residential homesThe ability to identify defects or problems proactively and take the necessary actions to rectify or prevent problems in an efficient mannerOutstanding leadership, communication, and planning abilities with a passion for working in a fast-paced environmentWe are keen to improve female (and other marginalised groups) representation in our workplaces.
