With 1000 staff in APAC across 23 disciplines, we provide global consultancy advice and support on a wide range of strategic and site-specific issues to a diverse and growing client base, including business, regulatory, and governmental clients.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Environmental Consultant to join our Environmental Approvals, Closure, and Management team based in our Adelaide CBD or Nuriootpa office. The team offers project management, environmental impact assessment, post-consent environmental management services, working alongside other specialist teams in SLR to deliver comprehensive environmental solutions across various sectors.We seek an articulate, motivated, and reliable professional with 5-10 years'' experience in consulting, government, or industry. The successful candidate will undertake project work, mentor junior team members, and develop client relationships regionally. Collaboration with the national EAC&M Group and other multidisciplinary teams will be key to the team''s growth and success.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:Providing advice on environmental impact assessment and management best practices to clients and team membersManaging environmental approvals projects across multiple industriesContributing to the development and implementation of team business plans and strategiesBuilding and maintaining effective relationships with clients and internal teams, including other technical disciplines within South Australia and nationallyWorking within multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects across various sectorsProducing high-quality, clear reportsOccasional travel for field assessments and site walkoversSkills and ExperienceTo succeed, you will need:A degree in Environmental Science, Town Planning, Engineering, or a related field5-10 years'' experience in environmental roles within consulting, industry, or regulationExperience leading multidisciplinary projectsClient management and business development skills (advantageous)Knowledge of SA and Commonwealth environmental legislation, policies, standards, and guidelinesExperience in sectors such as mining, infrastructure, renewables, power, or agribusinessExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAustralian Citizenship or rights to work in AustraliaOur BenefitsWe pride ourselves on our diverse, friendly, and expert team.
