With 58 radio stations in 33 markets, along with 46 DAB+ stations nationwide and our digital platform, iHeart, we go beyond the airwaves, capturing the hearts and minds of listeners in both metro and regional communities across Australia.Rare opportunity to join the Finance team at ARN as the new Group Financial Accountant.About The RolePrepare Financial Statements: Preparation of statutory financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements, in accordance with applicable accounting standards for external and internal reporting purposes.Liaise with External Auditors: Will work closely with external auditors to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial reports, facilitating a smooth and timely audit process.Manage Month-End Processes: Will oversee month-end closing activities, including the preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and other group accounting functions such as leases and fixed assets.Report to Internal Stakeholders: Will assist in the preparation of internal management reports and board packs, delivering financial insights to support decision-making.Support Financial Control Activities: Will support the Financial Control team in reviewing reconciliations, financial processes and group financial policies, controls and risks across the group, ensuring alignment with group accounting policies and best practices.About YouWill be CA or CPA qualified, or nearing qualification, ideally with a chartered background from a mid-tier or Big 4 firm well-suited for a first move into industry.Will bring strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with proven experience in finance governance, controls, and financial systems, and a commitment to continuous improvement and process excellence.Will demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and engage effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.Will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and accountable, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and hold stakeholders to account while remaining commercially minded and adaptable in approach.Whats In It For YouARN perks & benefits (e.g. giveaways, merch, events, free and discounted tickets)Novated leasing & superannuation salary sacrifice | Birthday leave | Paid parental leave | Charity leave | Bonus leaveDiscounts on lifestyle & entertainment with big name brands (including savings on health insurance and gym memberships)Education assistance | Build your expertise & abilities with award-winning learning programmes | Long-term career progressionOur CultureWe have four behaviours that make up our Culture in Action how we act every day to create a great place to work:Aim High set big goals and achieve togetherOwn It take ownership and be solutions focusedBe Your Best Self create the environment we need to thriveMake a Difference seek out ways to have a positive impactBring your skills, genius and energy along on our journey APPLY NOW.
