Dont want the headache of taking over a half finished project that is behind schedule?If you want to work with a builder that has a healthy bank balance, a high staff retention and delivers projects with repeat clients then this is the role for you.Youd be the lead SM on a brand new $40million project in Port Kembla which is a community centre/library being delivered for the local council.The 3-storey building with offices, cafeteria and car park is currently at demo stage so youll be coming in exactly the right time.Youd have a great PM, CA and foreman supporting you on the project and its with a builder that has 30 years+ experience delivering both gov and private projects in the $10-$60million range.With staff retention at 91% youll soon see why people stick around, you wont be worked to the bone and the project teams are experienced and not overloaded. Making your life easier.Salary is in the $220-$300k package range. If you are a site manager who doesnt want to work Saturdays again and wants to work with a reputable company that pay their subbies on time and can offer a job for life in the Wollongong area, then this will be the gig for you.What can you tell me about the company?With 35 years of delivering projects and 120 staff in Sydney, its safe to say that they know what they are doing.As the SM, youd get a flexible start and finish time, and you will only ever work on 1 project. As a builder, they usually turn tenders away if they arent profitable or have unrealistic programs.They are the sort of builders that people have moved to and wished that they had made the move sooner.Respecting their subbies and suppliers is the reason why they have a top reputation in NSW for their project delivery and consistent results and they have a big pipeline of work in the Wollongong and Camden areas.Sounds like a great role, but what skills do you expect of me?You dont need to be the finished article to apply for this role, but wed love to hear from you if you have these 4 attributes;You have a trade background and ideally a CERT IV in Construction.Youve delivered new build projects at $30 million+ previously in Australia as the lead site manager.Youve delivered aged care, commercial or education projects previously.You have a consistent work history and not job-hopped around too often.Im intrigued, whats the next step?You dont need to send a CV at this stage.
