As such, we are now looking for a result driven and ambitious Territory Sales Manager to deliver the overall financial objectives for the Adelaide Inner South, Hills & Riverland/Mildura Region.As an integral member of the Field Sales team, you will be responsible for the management and development of a team of Independent Sales Contractors who are responsible for the daily ordering, delivery, merchandising and compliance of daily fresh bakery products. In your role, you will also be responsible for delivering profitable sales growth in the Independents channel through direct selling and in store execution of Goodman Fielder''s full range of retail bakery and grocery products.Territory Covers: Adelaide Inner South & Hills, as well as monthly regional travel to the Riverland/Mildura Region.ResponsibilitiesManage, mentor and train a team of Independent Sales Contractors to execute GF strategic objectives in all customer channelsDrive in-store executional excellence across all bakery customersLead and facilitate contractor meetings to set business priorities and manage field performance action plansConduct performance management and disciplinary action of Independent Sales Contractor team as requiredConduct business reviews with customers to align strategic objectives and to increase customer engagement.Develop and manage Business to Business relationshipsIncrease business opportunities through various routes to marketsAbout You3 years FMCG Sales experience2 years People Management experienceExcellent planning and organisational skillsHighly developed interpersonal skills (ability to develop strong relationships internally & externally)Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)Ability to manage challenging timelines and work under pressureComputer skills (Microsoft Office, Sales force, information systems)Experience in working with new customers and developing relationships quicklyUnderstanding of end-to-end supply chain drivers within FMCGSelf-starter who uses own initiativeValid Driver''s LicenseYou have a Growth Mindset and easily adapt to shifts in business strategy and ongoing changeWith sites spanning across the Australasian region you will have the opportunity to build your own home grown career across functions, locations and brands.
