Patients can access a range of services including coronary care, intensive care, orthopaedics, general medicine, surgical, obstetric, respiratory, rehabilitation, paediatric, maternity and emergency care. The hospital also provides a wide range of outpatient services including allied health, dental and podiatry clinics, child, adolescent and family health, drug and alcohol, health promotion and rehabilitation and aged care. An acute mental health service is co-located at Hornsby Hospital. The new $265 million Stage 2 redevelopment was officially opened in June 2022.For more information You''ll Be DoingThe primary purpose of the Senior Resident Medical Officer (SRMO) in the Emergency Department is to provide clinical care, under appropriate supervision, to patients requiring emergency medical services in a complex clinical environment.
