CPB Contractors has more than 50 major infrastructure projects in delivery, across all key sectors of the construction industry, including roads and bridges, rail, tunnelling, defence, airports, buildings, and resources, providing you with career opportunities for years to come.The ProjectWith an exciting pipeline of projects on the horizon, CPB Contractors are recruiting experienced Project Engineer for upcoming opportunities throughout Townsville, QLD.Army Aviation Program of Works | DefenceNorth Queensland Mid-Term Refresh (cimic.com.au)Your OpportunityReporting to the Construction Manager, the Site Manager will effectively manage and lead the day-to-day activities of direct labour and subcontractors in the delivery of the scope of services; meeting safety, financial and productivity targets within planned schedules and guidelines.To Be Successful In This Role, You Will RequireExtensive experience with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor will be highly regardedExperience in delivering major building projects, with civil experience also highly regardedAn understanding of defence and security requirementsAbility to manage multiple deadlines simultaneouslyDemonstrated knowledge of, and commitment to, relevant Safety, Quality and Environmental standards legislation and practicesDemonstrated ability to plan and organise resources to achieve outcomesProven ability to develop and lead a team to complete works to meet targetsDemonstrated ability to coordinate and plan works to achieve KPIs and targetsWe particularly welcome and encourage applications from Indigenous Peoples, women, the LGBTQ+ community, mature workers, Veterans and active-duty armed forces, people with disabilities and people from different cultural backgrounds.
