Client Manager/Senior Accounting for Public Accounting FirmAbout the roleWe have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join us as a full-time Client Manager and Senior Accountant. In this role, you will play an essential role in ensuring an exceptional client experience and in providing high-quality advice.The role offers a great balance of client relationship management and technical accounting work. You will have the opportunity to manage your own client portfolio, all while being supported with our team-based approach.We aim to make a real difference in our clients'' businesses and lives through strategic tax planning, compliance management, and business advisory services. We are committed to professional development and work within a collaborative team environment.What youll be doing:You will report directly to the Senior Client Manager and will be responsible for:Being the face of our firm for client communication matters within your portfolio and supporting the Senior Client Manager as neededUsing your strong tax knowledge to review client affairs and provide strategic tax planning advice, considering cash flow obligationsProviding advice on structures and planning opportunities, including recommendations for establishing new entitiesLiaising with ASIC, ATO, other government agencies, and external stakeholders regarding client mattersReviewing the work of our production team for your assigned clientsUndertaking relevant production work to meet lodgement objectivesHandling ''fix-up'' jobs for clients, including advice on compliance issues, risk mitigation, and managing lodgement obligations and debtsConducting client meetings and conversations to gather information for individual client group returnsHolding Annual General Meetings (AGMs) with clients in your portfolio, either in person or via online channelsWhat were looking for:A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a public accounting firmExperience preparing tax returns, financial statements, fringe benefits tax returns, and tax planning reportsHigh-level technical knowledge of income tax, GST, and compliance obligations, with the ability to apply it effectivelyRelevant degree in Accounting, Business, or CommerceCA or CPA credentials are highly regardedStrong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligenceHigh computer literacy across accounting systems including Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, XPM, Office365, Karbon, Now Infinity, and the Tax PortalA commitment to exceptional customer service and a genuine interest in the accounting industryFlexibility and adaptability to changing business needsAn approachable work style and willingness to take on challenges to support team goalsHighly coachable with a focus on achieving the best outcomes for clientsWhy Work at Bee Group Accountants?We are a small team that cares about each other and our clientsWe offer support from our entire team and resources of the broader practice, providing a diverse and challenging role in a friendly environmentWe foster a culture of caring for clients, outcomes, and staff, operating as a seamless teamWe provide ongoing training, study support, social events, flexible work options, and a positive cultureAbout usBee Group Accountants has been serving clients on the Gold Coast for over 20 years, located in Oxenford/Maudsland.
