We understand that building such an environment takes time, and we are proud of our teams dedication and resilience.Job Tasks and ResponsibilitiesWere looking for an experienced General Manager to oversee operations, drive growth, and ensure excellence in production, sales, and compliance.Oversee end-to-end operations including production, inventory, logistics, and dispatchManage daily facility operations and ensure smooth workflow across departmentsLead, coach, and motivate staff including production, sales, and administration teamsMaintain high standards of product quality, hygiene, and food safety (HACCP/FSANZ)Implement and monitor targets and KPIsCollaborate with owners on growth strategies such as new products and marketsManage supplier relationships and control input costsForecast and manage stock levels according to seasonal demandEnsure workplace safety and regulatory complianceDrive sales through business development, wholesale relationships, and pricing strategiesMonitor financial performance including budgets, costs, and profitabilityMaintain all necessary licenses, certifications, and regulatory complianceAbout YouThe ideal candidate will have:Proven leadership or operations experience within the meat, FMCG, or food production sectorsStrong knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, and cold chain logisticsBusiness acumen with budget management and growth identification skillsHands-on leadership ability, capable of operating strategically and practicallyExcellent people management and communication skillsExperience working in a fast-paced, seasonal environmentPreferred experience in smallgoods or meat processing #J-18808-Ljbffr
