With more than 770 talented designers and specialists working across eleven studios, we are one of Australasia''s largest and most diverse design firms.About the OpportunityIn this role, you will support Project Leaders within a designated sector or portfolio by providing end to end project accounting across all relevant projects. Your focus will be on ensuring accurate and timely monthly reporting and related deliverables. You will join an experienced team of Finance Partners who will support your professional development within the role.Key Responsibilities:Support Sector and Project Leaders in preparing revenue forecasts.Assist Sector Leaders in developing and presenting annual budgets.Conduct portfolio analysis to evaluate sector performance against budget and forecast targets.Analyse project performance, prepare monthly Project Summary Reviews, and proactively identify potential financial risks.Provide training to Project Leaders on best practice for managing projects and related toolsManage or oversee monthly invoicing for all projects within your portfolio.Monitor work in progress (WIP) and unearned revenue (UR) balances to ensure financial accuracy.Manage debtors and credit control processes.Manage subconsultant reporting, including the processing or oversight of subconsultant invoices and related reconciliations.Identify opportunities for process or system improvements and actively contribute to their implementationAbout YouWe look forward to welcoming a candidate with relevant Project Accounting experience in the Architecture, Engineering or Construction industry alongside:Experience in stakeholder management, including managing and developing direct reportsIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience in ERP systems (Deltek Vantagepoint is advantageous)Strong communication and collaboration skillsExcellent analytic skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to senior managementProven time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlinesExperience managing complex projects and advising Project Leaders resolving or mitigate potential financial risksEmployee BenefitsAs part of the Architectus Finance team, youll thrive within our supportive, diverse and welcoming studio culture.
